Years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle at Church, so you can imagine my joy, when, years later, she asked me to shoot her wedding! I was glad to see that September, for me, was free! So, with much anticipation, I told her that I would love to do it!
I met up with Michelle and her lovely sister a few weeks before the wedding and we walked around the park where her and Josiah’s gorgeous wedding was to take place. I took note of beautiful trees, a stone arch, and the smiling bride-to-be. Getting into the car after the meeting, I knew that this wedding was going to be breathtaking and, okay, I’ll just say it – pinterest-worthy!
Josiah and Michelle’s wedding day produced clear skies, bright sunlight, and lots of happy faces. I was glad to discover that the wedding party was a fun-loving group and ready to do anything I suggested! They prepared for the wedding in an adorable little historical house, and just down the street was the beautiful park/ceremony site which was decorated with hay bales, an arch (handmade by the Bride’s father!), and lovely little touches of elegance soaked in down-to-earth country goodness.
Now, without further ado, I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking for me.

While the rest of my family was out of town my two younger sisters and I decided that a spa party was exactly what we needed. We took out nail polish, make-up, curling irons, foot soaks and hand scrubs and made an afternoon of it!
As soon as we finished I had to snap some photos of my beautiful not-so-little-anymore sisters, Abigail and Grace. Here are the finished results!

Josh & Suzanne’s Winter Wedding
The highest happiness on earth is marriage.
-William Lyon Phelps
When Suzanne asked us if we’d be interested in shooting her wedding, there was a sense of excitement and trepidation. Her & Josh’s special day came with great speed and as the sun dawned that morning and we noticed the snow-covered grounds, we knew this was going to be a wedding to remember.
Suzanne was a beautiful bride – her smile was so big and her eyes shining as she made her way down the isle to the man who would make her his wife. Josh was the sweetest of grooms – I nearly cried when I saw his emotional smile as Suzanne made her way towards him.
One thing that we were certain about this wedding was that the everything about it was beautiful. From the beautiful shades Suzanne chose as her wedding colors, to the smiling faces in the wedding party, to the food that graced the tales, to the bride and groom themselves. There is nothing more wonderful then taking photos of people who are truly happy and full of love. Shooting this wedding was a privilege – and one that will not soon be forgotten.
So without further ado, here are some select shots of their special day.

There is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship, communion or company than a good marriage. -Martin Luther
It ended up being a beautiful day – hardly a cloud in the sky, the sun was beaming brightly and smiles were on many faces. And without further ado, here are a few photographs of Justin & Melinda’s Special Day.
